Melt butter on HIGH MICROWAVE for 1 minute. |

Place the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a large bowl |

Mix together the butter, milk, egg and vanilla extract and then stir into the dry ingredients mixing thoroughly to produce a smooth batter |

Arrange the apples in the base of the dish. Scatter the pecans and cover with the batter |

Combine 250ml boiling water with the dark brown sugar and pour over the apples and batter. Place dish on wire shelf and cook on CONVECTION 170ºC + WARM MICROWAVE for 25 mins |
