Tuck into your favourite fish and chips dish, but at a reduced cost and waste! Delve into your kitchen, use up your ingredients, and be proud of eating your healthier alternative!




For the Fish Fillets

Heat the oven on CONVECTION 180C.


Pour the beaten egg into a shallow dish.


Tip the breadcrumbs onto a plate. Then mix the lemon zest into the breadcrumbs along with some salt and black pepper.


Brush a non-stick baking sheet with half of the oil.


Dip the fish fillets into the egg, then into the breadcrumbs. Then transfer to the baking tray.


For the Sweet Potato Fries

Place the butter and garlic in a large bowl and melt on MEDIUM MICROWAVE for 1 minute.


Toss the potato fries in the garlic butter and place on the baking tray, then sprinkle with salt.


Cooking the Fish and Sweet Potato Fries

Place baking tray on the wire shelf and cook using the Auto Weight Program in your combi. When using the CT5S and CD8, use the Auto Fish and Chip Menu on the display.

85g Panko Breadcrumbs
zest and juice of 1 Lemon
Black Pepper to season
1 tbsp Olive Oil
400 g Skinless Fish Fillets (Cod) or hake
For the Sweet Potato Fries
500 g Sweet Potatoes peeled and cut into medium thick fries
25 g Butter or oil
1 Garlic Cloves
Sea Salt to season
