Sprinkle some of the remaining sugar on to the work surface. Place the pastry onto the sugar and sprinkle some more on top.

Roll the pastry out until it is a rectangle measuring approx 25x40 cm, but after each second roll sprinkle with sugar and turn over.

Melt the butter on MEDIUM MICROWAVE for 40 secs. Use a pastry brush to brush the top of the pastry with the melted butter. Sprinkle over the sugar and cinnamon mix and use your hand to spread evenly.

Starting from the long side roll the pastry up and press the edge to seal the seam.

With the roll seam side down use a knife to cut the roll into 12 mm thick pieces. Place these onto the baking tray and enamel tray, 5 cm apart.
