Steps

1

In a bowl mix the cinnamon with 75g of the sugar.

2

Sprinkle some of the remaining sugar on to the work surface. Place the pastry onto the sugar and sprinkle some more on top.

3

Roll the pastry out until it is a rectangle measuring approx 25x40 cm, but after each second roll sprinkle with sugar and turn over.

4

Melt the butter on MEDIUM MICROWAVE for 40 secs. Use a pastry brush to brush the top of the pastry with the melted butter, then sprinkle over the sugar and cinnamon mix and use your hand to spread evenly.

5

Preheat the oven on CONVECTION 190 °C.

6

Starting from the long side roll the pastry up and press the edge to seal the seam.

7

With the roll seam side down use a knife to cut the roll into 12 mm thick pieces. Place these onto the baking tray and enamel tray, 5 cm apart.

8

Bake for 8-10 mins or until puffed and golden.

9

Enjoy with the perfect cup of tea!

Enjoy
