This healthy alternative to chocolate mousse is rich and delicious! You wouldn’t even know it’s made with avocado. Perfect for puddings and keeping your energy up. Avocado is a great source of natural fat while the dates and vanilla add a lovely sweet flavour.

Steps

Soak the dates in boiling water for 15 mins then drain.

Place the dates, maple syrup and vanilla in the food processor fitted with the S blade/ blender. And process/blend until smooth.

Add the avocados and cocoa powder and blend until creamy. Stop occasionally to scrape down the sides with a rubber spatula.

Add the water and process/blend briefly.

Final Touches

You can fill half of the hollowed out Avocado skin to present (see picture)

115 mls Water
Handful Hazelnuts
