Caramelised Apple with Camembert on Walnut Toast

Ingredients

8 Walnut Bread Thick slices
40g Butter
3 tbsp Clear Honey Plus extra for drizzling
4 Dessert Apples Red, sliced crossways into thin rounds, seeds removed
185g Camembert Cheese Sliced

A sweet and crunchy recipe to delight your taste buds. Caramelised apple is too delicious to turn down!

Steps

Pre-heat GRILL 1. Line the grill pan with foil. Toast both sides of the walnut bread for 4-5 mins until lightly toasted. Set aside.

Put the butter and honey in a glass bowl and place on the base of the oven. Heat on HIGH MICROWAVE for 50-60 seconds until just melted.

Arrange the apple slices on grill pan and brush them with the honey butter. Cook on GRILL 1 for 2-3 mins each side until softened and slightly golden.

Arrange the apple slices on the walnut toast and top with the slices of Camembert. Grill for another 2-4 mins or until the cheese is bubbling.

Serve toasts drizzled with extra honey.
