This breakfast flapjack recipe is the perfect early morning sweet treat that can be snacked on at any time of day! And it’s a winner in everyone’s book!

 

Tip:  This recipe can be doubled!  Cook on two levels, swapping the trays over halfway through the cooking time.

Steps

Grease and line the baking tin.

Place the butter and syrup into the bowl.

Put on the base of the oven and cook on HIGH MICROWAVE for 1 minute. Stir until the butter is completely melted.

Pre heat the oven on CONVECTION 170 °C.

Add in the remaining ingredients and mix well.

Press the mixture into the tin using the back of a spoon.

Bake for 20 minutes on CONVECTION 170 °C.

Mark into twenty pieces. Allow to cool before removing from the tin.

150 g Vegan Butter
175 mls Sweet Freedom Fruit Syrup
200 g Oats
75 g Gluten free puffed rice
75 g Desiccated Coconut
50 g Dried Mango chopped
75 g Dried Apricot chopped
