Banana Bread

This simple Banana Bread recipe helps you make a sweet and wholesome loaf in no time with the help of your Breadmaker.

In a bowl, cream together the butter and the sugar until it is light and fluffy, add the beaten eggs, then the flour and baking powder a little at a time until it is all incorporated.

Mash the bananas until smooth and stir into the mixture with the yogurt. Add the nutmeg, sultanas, and the roasted nuts and poppy seeds and mix until smooth.

Spoon the mixture into the lined bread pan and set to BAKE ONLY, MENU 14 for SD2500 and MENU 15 for SD2501 and SD2502 for 1 hour. Test the bread after about 45 minutes by pressing the top gently, if it springs back it is cooked. If not then it will need longer.
