Apple Crumble

  • For the Bottom Layer

  • For the Top Layer

For the Bottom Layer

Cut 2 of the apples so you have about 8 slices from each apple, then cut those pieces into bit-sized chunks.

Add to a microwave/ oven safe dish and mix I the cinnamon, sugar and butter.

Put in the microwave on high for 5 minutes, stirring halfway through.

Whilst that’s cooking, cut the last apple the way you did for the other 2.

When the apples in the microwave have finished, stir in the peanut butter and last raw apple chunks.

For the Top Layer

Mix the ingredients in a bowl using your fingers until it looks like a crumbly breadcrumb mixture. Lightly spread this over the top of your peanut butter apple layer. Put the dish on the wire rack on the enamel tray and cook on combination confection 180 °C +, then simmer for 10 minutes/until golden.

Remove from the combination microwave and leave to cool for 5 minutes.

Enjoy with either your favourite vanilla ice cream, cream, or custard!
