This is a delicious alternative to your standard Christmas fruit cake. Filled with gorgeous dried fruit complimented by the marzipan flavour you are bound to fall in-love with this sweet treat. Try your hand at this impressive dish!

Steps

Place the mixed dried fruit in the raisin nut dispenser. Put all the above ingredients apart from the marzipan and icing sugar in to the bread pan in the order listed above.

Use the BASIC BAKE RAISIN DOUGH menu.

When the dough has finished roll out to an 18 x 14 in rectangle. Brush with melted butter.

Shape the marzipan into a 14 x 6 in sausage shape. Place down the centre of the dough.

Roll the dough up to encase the marzipan and transfer to a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Cover and leave to rise for about an hour, or until doubled in size.

Pre-heat the oven to 190C. Bake for 45 - 50 mins. Dust with icing sugar. Serve cold.

2 tbsp Icing Sugar
