Whole Roasted Chicken with Mixed Vegetables & Spiced Yoghurt

Did you know that you can roast an entire chicken in your Panasonic Combi Microwave? Simply add in your chicken and accompanying vegetables and let your appliance work it’s magic!

Steps

Firstly, wash the roast chicken with cold water and pat dry. Then mix in the rapeseed oil with the spices listed and then smother the chicken with the mixture.

Secondly, peel and wash the carrots, and then pat them dry with a tea towel. Then wash the potatoes and pat dry so that they can be cut into cubes. Next peel and quarter the shallots. Then wash the tomatoes, pat them dry and remove them from the stems.

Put all of the vegetables in a large casserole dish and pour over with white wine. Then, place the chicken breast down and cook in the microwave with the 26 Whole Chicken Auto Combi programme.

Whilst your chicken is cooking, stir in the honey with the yoghurt. Then season the yoghurt with salt, pepper, and the Ras el Hanout. When the microwave finishes, turn the chicken once and then finish cooking.

1 Roast chicken around 1400kg
2 tbsp Rapeseed Oil
1 tbsp Paprika Powder
1 tsp Curry Powder
Salt
Black Pepper
For the Vegetables
400 g Carrot
400 g Potatoes
5 Shallots
250 g Tomatoes
100 ml Dry White wine
For the Yoghurt
300 g Greek yoghurt
1 tbsp Honey
Salt
Black Pepper
2 tsp Ras el Hanout
