Steps

For the Rice PuddingPut the rice, sugar, orange zest, cardamom pods, and milk in a large pyrex dish and stir well. |

Heat on HIGH for 10 minutes then stir well to break up any clumps of rice. |

Cover the dish and heat on SIMMER for 35 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes - this will help to prevent the milk from boiling over. |

Set aside to cool slightly while you prepare the compote. |

For the CompotePut the berries, orange juice, and sugar in a bowl with a lid and heat on HIGH for 2 minutes, stir and then heat for a further 2 minutes on HIGH. |

Serve in bowls with the rice pudding. |
