Steak & Ale Pie






Coat the steak in the seasoned flour and add to the casserole dish (1.5ltr Pyrex®) with all the pie filling ingredients. Cover, place on the base of the oven and cook on CONVECTION 160C + WARM MICROWAVE for 1hr 15 mins or until the meat is tender. Transfer to the pie tin.


Pre- heat the oven on CONVECTION 220C


Roll out the pastry big enough to fit the top of the pie tin and place on top, brush with beaten egg or milk and place on the enamel shelf in the lower shelf position. Cook for 20-25 mins or until golden and cooked through.
