Lemon and Poppy Seed Spelt Loaf



This savoury delight is perfect for breakfasts or paired with your favourite soup for lunch. All you have to do is put the ingredients in the bread pan and the bread-maker will do the rest!

Note: The lemon and poppy seed loaf will have a closer texture than a standard spelt loaf.




Place all the ingredients in the bread pan in the order listed above.


Bake on the Speciality Program 4 hours 30 mins (or if you do not have this program use Basic Bake Rapid 1 hour 55 mins, Large size)

1, 1/2 tsp Yeast
250g Whole Wheat Spelt Flour
250g White Spelt Flour
1 tsp Sugar Or Honey
1 tsp Salt
2tbsp Milk Powder
1 tbsp Oil
3 tbsp Poppy seeds
Finely Grated Zest of Lemon
320mls Water
1 tbsp Juice of Lemon
