Steps

Prepare the flax eggs by mixing 2 tbsp milled flaxseed with 6 tbsp hot water. Leave for 10-15 minutes to set.

In a large bowl, mix together all the dry ingredients.

Pour in the wet ingredients and mix to combine.

Remove the kneading blade form the bread pan and line with baking paper.

Transfer the batter into the bread pan ensuring the mixture is inside the baking paper.

Select menu 18 and enter 55 minutes on the timer.

Once the 55 minutes is up, test with a skewer to see if the cake is cooked. Leave to cool completely before adding the glaze.

To make the glaze – mix all the glaze ingredients in a bowl and drizzle on top of the cooled loaf.

230 g Gluten free oat flour or 265 g of spelt flour
100 g Ground Almonds
50 g Brown Sugar or 50 g of coconut sugar
3 tsp Baking powder
3 tsp Cinnamon
2 tsp Ginger
1/4 tsp Allspice
1/4 tsp Cloves
1/2 tsp Salt
Wet Ingredients
2 Banana mashed
100 ml Dairy-free butter melted
4 tbsp Milk of choice
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 Flax Egg 2 level tbsp milled flaxseed + 6 tbsp hot water
For the Glaze
4 tbsp Almond butter
3 tbsp Milk of choice
2 tbsp Maple Syrup
Pinch of Salt
1/4 tsp Cinnamon
