Cauliflower Mac & Cheese



This delicious creamy cauliflower mac and cheese puts a healthier spin on it’s usual classic. Perfect for sharing and it’s super easy to make in your microwave oven!

Roast half a butternut squash using the Panasonic Slimline microwave oven. When it’s soft and caramelised, blend to a puree.


In the meantime, make your cheese sauce on the hob by melting the butter, mixing in the flour, then slowly adding the milk, cream cheese, grated cheddar and pureed squash.


Add the cheese sauce mix to an enamel dish then mix in the raw cauliflower and macaroni. You may need to add a little boiling water as to ensure all is covered (this will be soaked up by the pasta during cooking process).


Bake in the Panasonic Slimline microwave oven using the convection setting for around 20 mins (or until the pasta has cooked).

150g Macaroni
175g Grated Mature Cheddar
50g Cream cheese
50g Butter
50g Flour
600ml Whole Milk
